A Well Needed Update!

Well I haven't been on here in a long time and I apologize!

To update you on what all is going on my Dad Doug who was over ALL the Scotland missions and this blog got diagnosed back in November with stage 4 (the worst and last stage) of colon cancer and started chemo. Right now, by the grace of God he is still alive :) and it's a miracle! The cancer in the Colon has GONE! yeh that's right, God has taken the cancer away in the colon, how awesome is that!! He still has some lesions in his liver so right now we have started the 2nd round of chemo after a 2 and a half month break. Please be in prayer for him, Doug is an awesome guy and is a big part of my life. He had to give up his job when he got diagnosed and also his position of Scotland mission leader.

My situation is different, while my Dad has stepped down from his role due to health issues I've stepped up and helping a LARGE youth group of 29 total to go to Nicaragua and present the gospel in many different ways. You can see all that goes on at yuthpreach.blogspot.com. We leave Sunday for a week long mission and I can't wait. From the first time which was 4yrs ago that I came over to America and went to Fairvew Baptist I've heard about Leon Nicaragua and ever since then I have had a passion to go and work with the kids there. Finally, God has provided a way and I am pumped!! I probably wont be able to get online while I am down there because our schedule is insanely packed but Greg the yuthpreach will update it regularly with pictures, videos and info.

I hope your all having a great 4th of July and I will update again soon. Hopefully before i leave Sunday. Thanks for your prayers :)

Jill

  • i remembered there was a verse about being tempted beyond what you can bare, and how God will never give you more than you can handle. But i couldn't remember the verse. So i went to google and typed in "bible verse" and "God won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bare." your's just happend to pop up, so i got the verse from it. But see, i then noticed the name... Jill Graham? So i went to your profile and it says you're 20 and in Tennessee... are you the same Jill Graham that lived in Texas? I was best friends with a Jill Graham in 5th grade. She was from Tennessee, had a polish mom, and a puppy named Missy. We lost touch after she transferred to a different school. Is this you, or just a REALLY big coincidence? :-) e-mail me at TLM004@shsu.edu My name is Tracy Pippin now, though you knew me as Tracy Martin.
